Scientific Program

The ASV 2017 program will include scientific symposia, workshops, poster sessions, and special educational presentations.  Collegial mixers and social events will punctuate the program. The regular meeting will begin Saturday, June 24, at 3:30 p.m. with the Welcome Reception, to be followed by the keynote address at 5:30 p.m. Five exciting satellite symposia will be held prior to the Welcome Reception starting at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 24th. The first group of simultaneous workshop sessions, including individual oral presentations, will follow the keynote that evening.

An outstanding Plenary Symposia, organized by ASV President Rebecca Dutch, will take place during the mornings of Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Individual workshop sessions continue on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday afternoons, as well as Sunday and Monday evenings. State-of-the-Art Lectures (30 min) will be presented during various workshops. Two poster sessions will be held with scheduled discussion sessions on Sunday and Monday afternoons, respectively, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The two ASV’17 Ann Palmenberg Junior Investigator Awardees will present short talks during the Sunday morning plenary session.
